La manucure de Noël chromée !

Hello Lovelies!

Je ne vous apprends rien, Noël est un peu particulier cette année. En temps normal, nous devrions être en train de préparer nos valises pour partir en vacances (notre rituel depuis déjà quelques années), mais cette année, c'est impossible. Bien que nous (+ Myron) allions seulement rester à la maison, avec un bon repas et un bon film, j'ai tout de même eu envie de faire un petit quelque chose sur mes ongles ^^

I'm not teaching you anything, Christmas is a bit special this year. Normally, we would be packing to go on vacation (our ritual for a few years now), but this year it's impossible. Although the two of us (+ Myron) are going to stay home, with a good meal and a good movie, I still wanted to do a little something on my nails ^^

J'ai jeté mon dévolu sur le pigment Diamond Red* de Peggy Sage, un superbe rouge chromé, festif à souhait !

I set my sights on Peggy Sage's Diamond Red* pigment, a beautiful, festive chrome red!

Pour ce nail art, j'ai décidé de l'associer aux jolis water decals flocons métalliques* issus de la collection Christmas 2020.

For this nail art, I decided to combine it with the pretty metallic snowflakes water decals* from the Christmas 2020 collection.

Pour un résultat sobre et festif à la fois, j'ai opté pour un double accent nail negative space.

J'ai commencé par poser les water decals sur mes ongles nus. J'ai ensuite ajouté une petite touche du pigment en appliquant seulement la base spéciale Chrome Effect sur les extrémités. Enfin, j'ai déposé une fine bande de striping tape argenté pour rehausser le tout et voilà le résultat !

For a both understated and festive look, I opted for a double negative space accent nail.

I started by applying the water decals on my bare nails. I then added a little bit of the pigment by applying the special Chrome Effect base coat on the tips only. Finally, I added a thin strip of silver striping tape to make everything pop and here's the result!
